Michael Nischan from EPIC Brokers introduced by Dan Thompson

Michael is responsible for the transportation risk control practice of EPIC. Transportation has been his passion since childhood, and he applies his experience in law enforcement, private industry and consulting to improve fleet safety and profitably.

He enhances culture to help clients reduce crash and theft risk, upgrade safety ratings and remain insurable while reducing litigation exposures.

He is an instructor with the North American Transportation Management Institute (NATMI) and has served as subject matter expert for a global risk management consortium. Michael has published several articles relating to transportation and security.

Michael will discuss the ins and outs of transportation risk management and will cover hot topics such as distractions, fatigue and maintenance in his "Transportation Risk Management in Modern Times" presentation.
